Acceleration+ is a program funded through the Federal Economic Development Agency of Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), in partnership with LatAm Startups, Haltech Regional Innovation Centre, TechPlace, and Innovation Factory.

Acceleration+ provides an extensive network of connections, education, and advisory services for entrepreneurs expanding into Southern Ontario. These services assist our clients in developing and implementing a tailored expansion plan, providing guidance and support every step of the way.

Whatever stage your company is in, Haltech’s staff and team of experienced advisors are passionate about bringing the right education, advisory services, and strategic connections to develop and grow innovation-oriented businesses to the next stage. From start-ups to large global corporations, Haltech is available to help you advance your technology-based innovations to market or to scale up your business.

Innovation Factory is a business accelerator, dedicated to helping Ontario-based businesses launch, scale, and succeed. We provide start-ups, and scaling companies with advisory services, training, mentorship, and strategic connections to help bring disruptive technologies to market, leverage intellectual property, increase revenues, attract investment and create jobs. Serving as the catalyst for tech innovation in the greater Hamilton area since 2011 we are driven to help: Entrepreneurs bring new ideas to life and to market Small/Medium Enterprises (SMEs) get to the next level Hamilton build a dynamic culture and a community of innovation

As an Acceleration+ client, you have visitor privileges at Innovation Factory’s workspace. This means you may use the space for meetings or to get work done. But capacity is limited, so we encourage you to use TechPlace as your primary office space.

Led by Burlington Economic Development, TechPlace exists to help technology, talent and ideation come together under one roof. But we do more than provide a base camp for tech companies to get work done. Anchored by our two co-location partners, Haltech and Angel One Investor Network, TechPlace provides tech companies (both new and growing) with access to space, resources, programming and mentorship through a growing partnership network and by creating an environment that’s focused on generating opportunities for networking and growth.

Being in Acceleration+ makes you a TechPlace endorsed user. This gives you access to:

LatAm Startups is a non-profit accelerator in Toronto that works exclusively with international start-ups and newcomers based in Canada.

As a designated sponsor for Canada’s Start-up Visa program, LatAm Startups is a pioneer in bringing the world’s top start-ups to Canada and helping them scale globally from Toronto.

Acceleration+ is only accessible to companies currently with LatAm Startups. You’ll be given the opportunity to enrol for Acceleration+ once ONE of the following conditions have been met:

• You have enrolled in Phase III of the Start-up Path Visa program with LatAm Startups
• You have enrolled in the New Entrepreneur Accelerator (NEA) program with LatAm Startups
• You have enrolled in the Corporate program with LatAm Startups
